Dance as Medicine Fridays happen on the 1st and 3rd Fridays (and 5th when there is one) of every month at The Fairfax Community Church alternating with Ecstatic Dance which happens on the 2nd and 4th Fridays.

Come dance, connect and be with community in the beautiful Fairfax Community Church Space. We are an open format dance, so you will get lots of variety from DJs as they play their own style and have freedom to shape the dance in different ways. Plenty of room for Contact Improv as well as space to do your own thing!

Shalman is a medicine man of music and dance from all over the world – from the jungles of Bali to the beaches of Costa Rica and all over in between.

His personal dancefloor downloads have inspired him to curate deep musical journeys that elevate and activate the senses and body. He blends a wide assortment of music, particularly medicine music with tribal bass, afro house, and all sorts of booty shaking beats in between.

Dance is 7:45-10pm
