w/Scott Nice and Grandfather Gold + special guest Temple Step
Hot off their tour with The Polish Ambassador, Scott Nice & Grandfather Gold will bring in the Fall season with a curated journey of introspective and uplifting original music. There will be music, dance, food, community, a beautiful atmosphere of lights, magic and more at the beautiful space of the Marin Masonic Lodge in San Rafael.
Scott Nice’s blend of world music and electronic sound design are sure to weave a dance tapestry to both move the body and feed the soul. Scott’s roots in ‘Turntablism’ and Hip-Hop shine with his remix/mash-ups of classic tunes accompanied by live scratching to create a one-of-a-kind sonic journey. With 7 full length albums and countless collaborations his music is a staple of Ecstatic Dance worldwide.

Grandfather Gold will open up the night with a unique blend of live vocals and downtempo productions building towards his signature folk house songs and then closing out our evening with an acoustic mbira sound journey. Grandfather Gold’s rich history touring with Ayla Nereo as drummer and backup vocals shine in his warm stage presence and down to earth stories.

Temple Step – Music Producer, DJ, Sound Healer and Ceremonial Alchemist – has been honing his craft in music for over 27 years. During this time he has had multiple collaborative producers groups, performed around the globe, shared countless Ecstatic Dance and Festival Sets, Co-developed Motiv Music, his music production business and Ecstatic Dance Melbourne.
